setState

network.setState(nodeNumber, x1, …, xn)
Sets the state of a node.

Parameters

nodeNumber: integer
The number of the node, whose state is set.
x1, …, xn : floats
The new values of the 1st, …, nth dynamical variable.

Example (python-conedy)

import conedy as co

N = co.network()

newNodeNumber = N.addNode(co.logisticMap())
N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.py.state")
N.setState(newNodeNumber, 0.3)

newNodeNumber = N.addNode(co.roessler())
N.setState(newNodeNumber, 0.1,0.2,0.25)

N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.py.state",co.component(0))
N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.py.state",co.component(1))
N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.py.state",co.component(2))

N.snapshot()

Example (conedy)

network N;

int newNodeNumber = N.addNode(logisticMap());
N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.co.state");
N.setState(newNodeNumber, 0.3);

newNodeNumber = N.addNode(roessler());
N.setState(newNodeNumber, 0.1,0.2,0.25);

N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.co.state",component(0));
N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.co.state",component(1));
N.observe(newNodeNumber, "output/setState.co.state",component(2));

N.snapshot();
